We are seeking an organized, results oriented, resourceful and relationship oriented problem solver to join our team as a HR Coordinator. While you don’t need to have previous experience using HR software and tools, the ability to work autonomously and efficiently on mutlple projects and processes on any given day is critical. 

This role is part time (20-25 hours/week but in the office M-F) and benefits eligible. The HR Coordinator will report to the Director, Total Rewards and work on processes and projects across the entire HR department.

Responsibilities include:
  • Respond to verification of employment and income requests 
  • Invoice processing
  • Benefit updates for new hires/terminations in our provider systems
  • Administer employee programs including: ORCA, Pacific Science Center and Ski Passes
  • Workday (HRIS) tasks related to new and exiting employee records
  • Employee personnel file creation and maintenance
  • Random drug testing program administration for flight operations team
  • Plan quarterly HR team events
  • Other HR projects as assigned
Key Qualifications and Required Skills:
  • Bachelors degree preferred; 2-4 years of university/trade school or equivalent experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, written and cross cultural communication skills 
  • Must be detail-oriented, able to develop and maintain highly organized work environment, and able to effectively prioritize 
  • Demonstrated capabilities in making solid business decisions, problem-solving, and multi-tasking in a highly dynamic and fast paced business environment 
  • Proven ability to exercise high degree of confidentiality and objectivity 
  • Ability to work in a team setting, conduct and present oneself in a highly professional manner with both internal and external clients and personnel 
  • Proven ability to set priorities and work independently with little or no supervision 
  • Advanced skills and experience in MS Word, Excel, Outlook are required
